I was a bit put off when my own bank after loaning me money for a car, motorcycle and other loans wouldnt let me purchase a house. I thought if they wouldnt no one would. I sent out an email to a list of banks around here and to Chris Shaller (
chris.schaller@thedrmc.com ) The most interesting thing was I sent these emails on a saturday morning and he responded to me within 15 minutes. Thoughout the application process he has been very helpfull and informative. He let me know that I had a better chance with a FHA loan and that most of the loans for homes go through this process. He had me come in once and I filled out some paperwork and he went over everything in detail.
The pre approval was very quick and any questions I had, he would answer my call or since I am more techy, I emailed him the questions. The answers came back very quickly. Chris also got me pre approved for a higher ammount than I thought I could have afforded. FHA loans let you only put down 3.5 percent and your good.
I am very happy with the service that chris was able to give. If you are looking for a home and need a mortgage, I would really recommend him!
